Custom timer
Since July 2026, Cayo Perico money depends on timing. The solo cooldown is 144 minutes, and once it ends you have 48 minutes to pay the setup fee if you want Hard Mode's extra 10% and the $100,000 Elite bonus. It's easy to get distracted and miss it. Tap a button when your finale ends and HeistCalc will remind you.
What the timers do
- Cooldown: counts down until you can set up Cayo Perico again.
- Hard Mode window: starts when the cooldown ends. You'll get a warning 10 minutes before it closes.
- Custom timers: anything else you're waiting on, like business stock, a contract cooldown, or a friend's session.
- Weekly reset: when this week's first-run heist bonuses refresh. Track them in the weekly checklist.
Timers are saved in your browser, so you can close the tab and come back. Alerts need the page open, even in the background.
Frequently asked questions
How long is the Cayo Perico cooldown?
144 real minutes (3 in-game days) after a solo finale, and 48 minutes (1 in-game day) after a finale with at least one other player. The timer keeps running while you're offline.
How does the Cayo Perico Hard Mode window work?
When the cooldown ends, Pavel texts you. If you pay the $100,000 setup fee at the Kosatka within 48 real minutes, the next run is Hard Mode: +10% on the primary target and a $100,000 Elite bonus. Miss the window and only Normal is available.
Will I get alerts if I close the tab?
Alerts fire while HeistCalc is open in a browser tab, even in the background. If you close the tab, your timers are saved and pick up where they left off when you come back. Install HeistCalc to your home screen to keep it one tap away.
