HeistCalc ("we", "us") runs heistcalc.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it is used.
Information we collect
The calculators run entirely in your browser. Numbers you type into them are not sent to us or stored on our servers.
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, in order to deliver and protect the site. We use aggregate, anonymous statistics to understand which pages are popular.
Saved on your device
Your timers, weekly checklist and settings are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you turn on Discord alerts. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Discord alerts
If you connect Discord, we store the webhook URL you provide, whether you want weekly reset messages, and the time, title and text of any timer alerts you schedule. We use this only to post your alerts to that channel. Sent alerts are deleted right away. Click Disconnect on the Discord alerts page to delete your webhook and any pending alerts. If you delete the webhook in Discord, we remove it automatically the next time we try to use it. To limit abuse, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for one hour when you connect.
Cookies and advertising
We use third-party advertising partners, including Ezoic and Google, to show ads that keep the site free. These partners may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to show relevant ads and measure their performance.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of many third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Visitors in the EEA, UK and certain US states are shown a consent banner and can change their choices at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, delete or object to the processing of personal data, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for advertising. Use the consent banner or contact us to exercise these rights.
Children
This site is about games rated for mature audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
