Cayo Perico Solo Guide
Get the most from every solo Cayo Perico run after the 2026 changes: target odds, Hard Mode timing, what to bag, Elite Challenge and the cooldown loop.
Cayo Perico is still the best heist you can repeat alone, even after the July 2026 cuts. Solo payouts now depend on three things: which target you roll, whether you hit Hard Mode, and how well you fill your one bag. Here's how to get each one right.
1. Make your first scope of the week count
Since TU 1.73, the high-value targets reset every Thursday. Your first scope after the reset has a 40% chance of the Ruby, 40% Bonds, 20% Pink Diamond, and no chance of the Tequila. After that, Tequila shows up 80% of the time for the rest of the week. Plan your best run (time, focus, Elite) for right after the reset.
2. Always run Hard Mode
When the cooldown ends, Pavel texts you. Pay the $100,000 setup fee at the Kosatka within 48 real minutes and the run is Hard. That adds 10% to the primary target and doubles the Elite bonus to $100,000. The trade-off is that guards only show on your radar up close, and fingerprint hacks get longer.
3. Fill your bag in this order
| Loot | Full bag worth | How much fills a bag |
|---|---|---|
| Cocaine | $360,450 | 2 stacks |
| Weed | $318,600 | 2⅔ stacks |
| Paintings | $303,750 | 2 paintings |
| Cash | $291,600 | 4 stacks |
You can grab part of a stack, so top off with whatever's left. Gold isn't an option solo: it's behind dual-keycard doors. The office safe ($18,000–$99,000) takes no bag space, so always grab it. Avoid taking damage on the way out, because getting hit drops secondary loot.
4. Get the Elite Challenge
Worth $100,000 on Hard, paid on top of your take. You need all three:
- Finish the finale in under 15 minutes
- A full loot bag
- No failed fingerprint hacks
Quick restarts and getting detected void it. Don't chase every last stack if it costs you the 15-minute timer: the Elite bonus is worth more than a partial stack of cash.
What a solo run pays (Hard, full bag of cocaine, average safe)

| Ruby Necklace | $1,034,950 | $810,756 | $910,756 |
| Bearer Bonds | $1,096,550 | $864,964 | $964,964 |

5. Run the cooldown loop
Solo cooldown is 144 real minutes, and logging off doesn't pause it. Use the gap for other income: your weekly first-of-the-week heist bonuses (see the best heists in 2026), businesses, or contracts. Then jump back in when Pavel texts, so you don't miss the 48-minute Hard Mode window.
Frequently asked questions
Can you do Cayo Perico solo?
Yes. Cayo Perico is fully soloable. The only thing you can't take alone is gold (and compound paintings), which sit behind doors that need two keycards at the same time.
How much does a solo Cayo Perico run make in 2026?
On Hard with a full bag of cocaine and an average safe: about $655,876 with the Tequila, $810,756 with the Ruby, $864,964 with the Bonds and $1,149,556 with the Pink Diamond, after fees and setup. Add $100,000 for the Elite Challenge.
What should I put in my bag solo?
Cocaine first (two stacks fill a bag), then weed, then paintings, then cash. If there's no cocaine, weed is close behind.
How long is the solo cooldown?
144 real minutes after a solo finale. Pay the next setup fee within 48 minutes of Pavel's text to get Hard Mode.
