Heists in GTA 6: What's Confirmed
What Rockstar has actually confirmed about heists and robberies in GTA 6, from Raul Bautista to the 'easy score goes wrong' story, and what's still speculation.
GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026, and robbery is at the heart of it. But a lot of what you'll read online about GTA 6 heists is guesswork. Here's what Rockstar has actually shown, kept separate from the speculation.
Confirmed by Rockstar
- The story is about a score. Rockstar's official description says it begins "when an easy score goes wrong" for Lucia and Jason.
- Raul Bautista is a bank robber who recruits crews. His official character bio calls him a seasoned bank robber who brings in talent for high-risk, high-reward scores.
- Robbery is in the trailers. The first trailer (December 2023) shows Lucia and Jason holding up a convenience store.
Not confirmed yet
- A heist planning board or prep missions like GTA 5's
- Choosing a crew, or crew cuts
- Any payout figures
- How many heists there are, or whether you can replay them
- Robbing stores or banks freely in the open world
- What GTA 6's online mode includes
Reports of loud vs. quiet approach choices trace back to secondhand coverage of a magazine preview. Rockstar hasn't confirmed them, so treat them as speculation.
What past GTA games suggest
Rockstar's last two big games give a decent template:
- GTA 5 story mode had five heists with approach and crew choices. The crew you picked changed your take, from a few hundred thousand to over $41 million per character. See GTA 5 story heist payouts.
- GTA Online added multi-part heists in 2015 and kept adding them for a decade, from the Fleeca Job to Cayo Perico. See every GTA Online heist payout.
With a bank-robbing recruiter in the cast, planned heists with crews look likely. How they pay out is anyone's guess until launch.
When we'll add GTA 6 heist calculators
As soon as we can verify real values in game after November 19. We won't publish guessed numbers. Until then, the heist cut calculator works for any game: plug in the take and your crew's cuts.
