Every confirmed GTA 6 cheat code for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, added as soon as they're verified. What we know so far and how cheats worked in GTA 5.
No GTA 6 cheat codes are confirmed yet. The game launches November 19, 2026. We'll test codes on PS5 and add the verified list here. We won't post rumored or fake codes.
Will GTA 6 have cheats?
Probably. Every mainline Grand Theft Auto game has shipped with single-player cheats, from GTA III's button codes to GTA 5's phone numbers. Rockstar hasn't confirmed anything for GTA 6 yet.
How cheats worked in GTA 5
- Button combos entered during gameplay on console.
- Phone numbers dialed on the in-game phone, which made cheats easier to remember.
- Trophies and achievements were disabled for the session after using a cheat, and you couldn't save while cheats were active.
- Single player only. Cheats never worked in GTA Online.

Frequently asked questions
Are there cheat codes in GTA 6?
Not confirmed yet. Every mainline GTA game has had single-player cheat codes, but Rockstar hasn't said anything about GTA 6 cheats. We'll publish the verified list after launch.
Will GTA 6 cheats disable trophies or achievements?
In GTA 5, using cheats disabled trophies, achievements and saving for that session. If GTA 6 follows the same pattern, expect the same restriction.
Can you use cheats in GTA 6 online?
Cheat codes have only ever worked in single player. Using third-party cheats online breaks Rockstar's terms and can get your account banned.
